FYidoctors East Gwillimbury has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Optometrist to join our growing clinic located in the Longo’s Plaza. We are seeking an Optometrist who is passionate about building a patient base, growing their practice, and providing high-quality eye care to families and individuals in a welcoming, evolving community. The clinic is supported by a dedicated team and offers a collaborative environment with multiple doctors on site. With two functional exam lanes, a supportive staff team including a student optician and optical dispenser, the clinic provides a collaborative and mentorship-driven environment. Specialties offered include dry eye management and myopia management. The patient base includes families, adults, and seniors, with a focus on attracting new patients and growing the practice. About FYidoctors: Founded in 2008 by a group of 30 Optometrists, FYidoctors has grown to include over 600 Optometrists across Canada. New technology, shared information, services, buying power that enhanced our financial position — everything flowed back to the care and attention we could give to everyone who came through our doors, and the people who kept the lights on.
While our roots are in optometry, our hearts are in compassion and care. We always knew our values and our model could do more than just change optometry. So we brought retail optical and medical aesthetics (2021-2023) into the fold. And we found putting the experts — whether they are optometric doctors, medical doctors, healthcare providers, or business owners — front and center, and backing them with national brands, a network of support, diversified expertise and excellent financing was a winning formula.
