Senior Fertility Nurse Toronto, ON | Full-Time

The Opportunity As a Senior Fertility Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care throughout every stage of the fertility journey—from initial consultation and diagnostic investigations through treatment, early pregnancy, and follow-up care. Working closely with Reproductive Endocrinologists, Embryologists, Nurse Practitioners, and Administrative teams, you'll combine clinical expertise with compassionate patient education and coordination to ensure every patient receives safe, evidence-based, and personalized care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fertility nurse who enjoys building strong patient relationships, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to a growing, innovative fertility clinic.
What You'll DoClinical Care Coordinate and manage patients throughout fertility treatment, including IVF, IUI, ovulation induction, egg freezing, and cycle monitoring. Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, procedures, and expectations. Provide compassionate emotional support throughout the patient journey. Review laboratory and ultrasound results with physicians and communicate treatment instructions to patients. Coordinate diagnostic testing and treatment schedules. Monitor patients following egg retrieval procedures and provide discharge education. Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation. Dispense fertility medications and maintain medication inventory. Cycle Monitoring & Weekend Care Conduct weekend and holiday cycle monitoring. Review stimulation monitoring results with physicians. Communicate medication adjustments and treatment plans to patients. Schedule egg retrievals (OPUs), IUIs, semen collections, and follow-up appointments. Coordinate patient flow to ensure timely clinical care. Participation in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations is required. Clinical Excellence Practice in accordance with the standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold privacy legislation. Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices. Participate in policy development, clinical education, and process improvements. Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and clinic protocols. Team Leadership As a senior member of the nursing team, you will: Foster a collaborative and positive team environment. Support onboarding and mentorship of new nursing staff. Share clinical knowledge and best practices. Participate in staff meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the clinic.
QualificationsRequired Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Minimum 5 years of fertility nursing experience. Current Professional Liability Insurance. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Demonstrated experience managing IVF, IUI, cycle monitoring, and fertility treatment coordination. Preferred ACLS certification. Experience working in a high-volume fertility clinic. Experience using electronic medical records (EMRs).

Working Conditions Full-time, permanent position. Based in Toronto. Clinic operates seven days per week, generally between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Participation in weekends, statutory holidays, and on-call rotation is required. Initial training provided at our Toronto clinic.
