Clinical Trial Assistant-SPF/INVIVO
About the role
Position Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Clinical Trial Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support laboratory projects by performing SPF and other in vivo testing, preparing laboratory materials and equipment, collecting and analyzing data, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with ISO and FDA procedures. You will also help maintain laboratory equipment, manage inventory, and contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Main Responsibilities Participates in the execution of laboratory projects and experiments. Performs a variety of specialized technical tasks according to established methodology. Performing SPF evaluation testing. Performing other In VIVO testing. Prepares and sets up materials and equipment. Records results, performs calculations and compiles data. Maintains records and files. Performs the operation of apparatus or techniques. Maintains equipment and performs minor repairs. Arranges for servicing. Ensures the cleanliness and safety of the work area. Maintains inventory. Purchases equipment and materials. Uses a variety of equipment such as balances, pH meters, pipettes, laminar flow hoods, incubators, autoclaves, microscopes, spectrophotometers, centrifuges, computers and audio-visual equipment. Qualifications Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree or equivalent required. Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written. High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to quality. Strong attention to detail with the ability to collect, interpret, analyze, and report accurate data. Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation. Methodical and analytical approach to work, including establishing procedures and using specialized instruments and computer systems to perform accurate and precise testing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a regulated environment. Adaptable and proactive, with the ability to respond positively to changing priorities and requirements. Strong team player with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
